Is Ongati really free?
Yes. You can create and keep your Public Page on Free without a credit card. Free is not a trial.
Is Free a trial?
No. Free is a permanent Ongati plan.
What is included on Free?
Your Public Page, permanent QR, one location, one bookable provider, Calendar & Booking, waitlist, Customers, basic Reviews, and 100 transactional email notifications each month. SMS is not included.
Which paid plan fits one provider?
Solo includes one bookable provider for $20/month or $200/year. It adds supported two-way Calendar Sync, manual approval, follow-up service recommendations, per-service booking add-ons, 1,000 included transactional emails, SMS, and Wallet access. If you add providers, customers can choose one or select No preference.
When does Growth make sense?
Growth includes up to six bookable providers, advanced Team schedules, individual hours, custom breaks, 5,000 included transactional emails, a one-time $10 Communication Wallet credit, and priority support. Customers can choose a provider or select No preference. Ongati can show a Growth recommendation and savings when it may cost less, but never switches your plan without confirmation.
How are additional providers billed?
On Solo, provider 2 and every provider after costs $10/month or $100/year. On Growth, provider 7 and every provider after costs $8/month or $80/year. The add-on always matches the base plan’s monthly or annual interval.
Can Growth support more than six providers?
Yes. Growth supports provider add-ons starting with provider 7. You do not need a Larger Business agreement solely because your team has seven or more providers.
Is Calendar Sync included on Free?
No. Two-way Google and Outlook Calendar Sync starts on Solo when a supported connection is ready.
Are email notifications included?
Free includes 100 transactional email notifications each month, with warnings around 80% and 100%. Solo includes 1,000 and Growth includes 5,000; additional email uses Wallet credit on paid plans.
What happens when Free reaches its email allowance?
Further transactional email pauses until the next UTC month or an upgrade. Free includes exactly 100 transactional emails each month; it has no additional email bucket and cannot use Communication Wallet credit for overage.
When is SMS available?
SMS is available on Solo, Growth, and eligible Larger Business agreements where supported. It uses Wallet credit from the first message and requires the customer’s consent, messaging preferences, and enough Wallet credit.
What is the Communication Wallet?
It is prepaid credit for usage-based Ongati communication such as SMS reminders. It does not hold customer payments or business revenue.
How does the one-time Wallet credit work?
New paid Solo businesses may receive $5 once, and Growth businesses may receive $10 once, after their first successful plan payment. The credit has no cash value and does not repeat after cancellation, reactivation, or switching plans. See Terms for full eligibility.
What happens if I cancel?
Your paid access normally continues through the current paid period, then your business returns to Free. Your Public Page, QR, Calendar & Booking, Wallet balance, Customers, Reviews, appointments, billing records, and history remain. Providers above Free’s limit are archived or made non-bookable rather than deleted.
Do I lose my QR if I cancel?
No. Your permanent Ongati QR remains connected to the same Public Page.
Can I change between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. Ongati shows the timing and any available proration preview before you confirm. Your base plan and provider add-ons switch together so billing intervals are not mixed.
I already have Standard. What happens?
Your existing $20 monthly or $200 yearly subscription is shown and treated as Solo. Ongati does not change your Stripe subscription, rebill you, rewrite billing history, or create a second subscription.
What is Larger Business?
Larger Business is a sales-supported or invoiced agreement for needs such as multiple locations. It is not a public self-service multi-location plan. Growth remains available for teams with seven or more providers.
